Rank shaming btw

I like that bs a lot . A guy asking what is wrong with his playstyle and he cannot escape high gold , only to get responses from bronzes to silvers analysts . Yeah dudes , they are totally experts and have great game knowledge . They should totally comment their on point analysis . Whoever says they should not because they are not good enouph , therefore they cannot possibly help but confuse the guy asking , should get the comment removed for rank shaming . Long live the delusional . Next time maybe faker should make a thread discussing the future meta asking masters - to challengers and i , the high plat - low dia scrub will interfere because i totally know the game at their level and can help . That is the exact analogy of what is wrong with the boards . The issue tho is that i know my limits and will stay away from such a thread , but those people will totally start even arguing with supremely higher elo opinions , like they can possibly be correct . That's all , i'm done with the boards and their " democratic views on everyone having a worthy opinion to share " . Sorry , knowledge is by default elitist . I will ask a doctor to tell me what to do to get better not some random wannabe . The wannabees' opinions can only harm me not aid me .

Ability to execute mechanics in-game is not necessarily equal to the ability to understand the mechanics you should be executing. There's a correlation in many cases, but not a sufficiently consistent one for it to be accurate to say "higher rank == higher game knowledge."

The long and short of it is that we're not discriminating on who is allowed to post based on their rank, and if that causes you to be done with the boards then that is a choice you are empowered to make.

I had seen doctors prescribe overdose medicine to patients and patients getting sick because of it. as well as patients getting cured because they listened to someone else calling out the overdose.

bottom line, we are humans, we make mistakes, and sometimes there's something we can't see. But others might see it. In the doctor example above, a pharmacist told me: I've never seen a receipt like this and sold so much for a shot. Who will do injections? Me: me. Oh, so you got training. Me: no. Oh, ok, then.... be careful.

Me: telling mom about it. Mom: hmm, she might be right Me: researching online. Me: oh, that's double the maximum dose prescribed for this case and for patients of this age. Asking friend that finished med university: hey, how about this? Friend: Idk, the doctor made the decision after seeing the patient, i won't go over her decision. Me: ok, fuck it, I'm doing half the shots.

Patient after a week: cured.

Just because someone is "higher rank", or has a higher social status doesn't mean they are immune to mistakes or wrong decision making. This includes: rich people, celebrities, doctors, lawyers, and everything others admire.

Yeah you don't know, when reading someone's comment and looking up their rank, you don't know whether you outrank them based on your superior micro, macro, champion knowledge, reflexes and connection speed... All you know is that you outrank them.

You can't know that you know more about the specific subject being discussed than they do. This isn't anything like asking for medical advice from a medical doctor. This is asking medical advice from a large community of medical students, some of whom are studying the field you need knowledge from and some of whom are not. Are the ones nearing graduation more likely to know what you need to know? Of course. But none of them have perfect knowledge even in the field they study. Depending on the question you are asking, a less experienced colleague may have a more accurate answer.

ranks are just as bad as KDA. if you are 5/0 people will worship you like god. if you are 0/5 they won't even take the time to spit on you. ranks are the same way. gold player. middle of the road, ok? gold players look up to and worship diamond and plat but will look down on and disregard silver and bronze.

Some of the best coaches in sports would be the equivalent to a Silver or Bronze player when they play the game themselves. Understanding the game and having the mechanics to perform the optimal actions are two different things.

Imagine there being people who, can't play without locked screen, aim is so bad that they miss Janna shields or Soraka heals, imagine people who never learned to type properly, imagine people who can't use the F keys, or imagine people who can't use more than 1 active item because they don't know where their hand is on the keyboard.
