Greetings! People of The League Community. I require some answers from you all.
I'm going to move to Canada this December and I'm worried that I can't play League without using any use of VPN services/ IP Address changer. I use Garena by the way and I'm from the Philippines. Is there an explanation of how it will change servers or straight up create a new account in the Riot Client?

Sukishoo1 votesNo. The Garena services, which were founded in Singapore are for The Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Which are a lot of Asian territories.

rujitra1 votesAlso they're for many more games than League - given unique legal/governmental/commercial requirements/regulations in SEA (southeast asia), most western game companies would not find an economically viable entry into the market. Having a company that merely "licenses" the games but handles all the local regulations makes it possible.
TLDR: People complain about Garena - but it's Garena or nothing, because Riot owned League in SEA is not financially viable at all.
