champion selection troubles

it may just be me, but when banning you can have a champion hovered and it will be banned. why isnt this the same for selections. i only have a limited time to change my runes since i fill most the time. and even getting out of my rune selections takes more than a few seconds with another window that pops up making it even longer to confirm my selection. i have dodged ques unintentionally because of this a few times, but maybe its just because i have a bad computer. i dont know, but this is one thing that i would like to make things easier. to have my champion picked when i already have it hovered like in the bans. am i alone in this?
