its just another way that riot is trying to enforce parties by giving them an advantage. Although i definitely think it should be enabled in clash once clash is released.

Generally premades that have mics already use a voice chat such as Discord. Implementing a voice chat could be nice to help make it so it is more balanced for solo queuers. I do not think it will give people who are premade an advantage since odds are they already are in one.

riots already stated its only going to be available to premades until they can figure out toxicity though. So i dont see how its making it more balanced for solo que players.

People who are a duo no matter hat will have better communication then 2 random solo queues. They want to bridge that gap by offering the choice of voice chat. Like if i am with a friend in bot lane. We use discord. If we are against people who are not. We have instant and more clear communication. We do not need to ping or type in chat that someone is in tri bush. However the randoms would. They want to make it more equal and fair.

I get that but are you not reading what i write. Solo players womt get voice chat atm only premades. So the guys using discord will use the offivial one instead of discord. Only now that 4 man premade cant invite the 5th solo player. Solo players will still have to use discord and post the link in champ select if they want voice comms because "wah wah someone on the interwebs said mean things to me"
