Hi, I am doing a project for a class where we give a speech about something we are passionate about. In the speech we are to include a statistic about our topic, and because I am talking about the jungle role; I was wondering if some one can tell me how many people play the jungle compared to the other roles. I would appreciate it if you also include where you got your information from.

Riot had a data graph that shows it's the least played (outside of fill) in low elo.

Least desired, but one of the most impactful...here's some stats for you:

Seems balanced. It's one of the most complex yet rewarding roles in the game. Of course noobs are going to avoid it. The solution isn't to dumb it down, and I doubt widening the champion pool is going to do anything to bring new players in.

In fact...I'd say adding "noob friendly" characters like Garen and Darius to the jungle will only frustrate new junglers because although those champions are easy to play, their ganks are awful. It's like they're baiting new players into the jungle with these champs and then dooming them to frustration and failure.

how many people play the jungle? hmm.. I think there's usually 2 junglers every game. one on the ally team, and one on the enemy team. so... 20% of people play jungle every game

Riot's most recent comment about Jungle is that it is still the least desired role.
