How safe is league really?

So I just played a game like any other, but when I got to the post-game, some guy on the enemy team called me by my name, referencing me to the champ I was playing, now 1, I never once disclosed my name to him, nor is it posted in my account bio, 2 there should be no way that some random person could use the game to figure out my personal information. I do not feel safe about the fact that he was able to figure this out as it leads me to the question, what else can he go digging and scrounging around for? I would appreciate if I could get into contact with a riot employee to further discuss this issue, that is why I am making a public discussion about how safe do you feel while playing this game? This may be silly to some people but I consider my security online to be imperative. Thanks for your time.

From what I understand, on console, since players were the hosts of the lobby, information is sent between each other, and not a server like with Riot. This makes getting a person's IP much easier. You literally just use an app and check what you're connecting to.

For a person to get your IP from league, they would have to get the information through the servers. That is much harder. I doubt this happened.

Most likely, you or a friend probably said it without realizing.

Your league name is the same (or very similar) to your skype username. Skype is pretty exploitable. Going from skype username to physical address and name just takes a few minutes.

If your name is very common he probably guessed it.
