Howdy!

We saw your post in Gameplay, but it looks like it should be posted in Report a Bug. That was explained in the removal. Did you have any other questions regarding the removal?

They cannot move posts. It is a limitation of the boards software.

thats extremely janky then to just delete it cause "it was in wrong spot"

Well it doesn't belong in "the wrong spot", so this is what they do since their software doesn't allow them to move it. They could close it and leave a message on where to repost it but then it doesn't really allow the creator to do much after that since that usually disables the ability to edit / copy anything from there. At least when it is deleted, it still technically exists as it is a "soft delete" and then can be seen by the creator where they can then copy what they need from it. Plus removing it like that is more or less a better way to clean up areas rather than just having a ton of locked threads that are in the wrong place be burred at the bottom where everyone can see them.

Believe me, if we could move threads we would! As others have noted, we cannot do so due to limitations of the Boards. When we remove something in the wrong section, it is less a moderation action and more a curation action as we're trying to make sure that there aren't a lot of threads that don't belong in a sub-board pushing down other threads. In this case, your thread was posted in Gameplay when it was discussing an in game bug or possible issue. Threads discussing that belong in either Ask the Community if you need technical assistance or Report a Bug if you think it is related to an issue on Riot's end.

It's odd that you are unable to access your removed thread. Try this link and see if it works. Let me know if it doesn't and I can try to help provide the information for recreating your thread in the most appropriate sub-board.

Janky? Maybe, but that is the choice of Riot on the boards software. The moderators have no real recourse to do anything about it. All they can do is delete the thread, since they cannot move it.

It might be worth it, though, to see if moderators are willing to put the text of the post in the moderation notification, when it is removed for this purpose. You could ask about it in discord or discuss the boards

You should be able to view the thread still and copy it if you wish.

acctually no ive checked its just poof

It should have been linked in the deletion message - click that link and it should show up for you as the author (but everyone else will get an error "page not found").

I'm presuming that moderators can also view deleted threads but I don't know.
