How long does it take for punishment tiers to drop on the boards.

I kept getting banned for the stupidest of shit so i quit my main account for a month to let it cool down (havent recieved even a slap on the wrist on my alt account despite not changing my posting habits so im guessing i was only getting punished due to haveing been punished before i.e punishment tiers)

Or should i just abandon this account because every infraction i make is going to be harsly viewed even though past offenses were months apart and with a week or 2 ban attached to it?

We don't have the same system that the game does; we don't necessarily have hard numbers in place for the type of infraction and cooldown periods. If we did, I think it would be best to share those with you in the interest of transparency.

We're much more interested in whether or not there's an attempt at reform, generally. We're willing to work with people that consistently show progress towards treating others with respect. If your goal is to get away with as much as possible, that's not a good start.

My best advice would be to pay attention to the Universal Rules and whatever your removal notifications have said. If you want to be an active part of the Boards community, make an attempt to be a positive influence! We want the Boards to be a place where people can peaceably discuss the game without getting attacked or harassed. If you keep that in mind, there really shouldn't be many (or any) problems.
