Win rate has nothing to do with Lp gains/losses . All that matters is your current rank and your current mmr. For example, if someone gold 5 0 lp with silver 3/4 mmr they will gain very little lp per win because they aren't at the mmr of their rank. They might get +8 but -12. If your mmr is high then you gain more. Of it is really high you skip diviisions, if it is really really high you skip promotion games, sometimes even tier promos. This smurf is g1 with p2 mmr so it might skip to p5 whenever I hit 100 lp.

You have two ranks, your displayed rank and a hidden rank called MMR. Whenever you win or lose a game your MMR increases or decreases. Youre matched with other players who are a similar MMR to you regardless of your displayed rank or theirs. The difference between your displayed rank and your MMR determine how much LP you will win or lose from the game.

Essentially if your MMR is above your displayed rank youre expected to lose so you win more points if you win and lose less if you lose. That way if you really are that good your displayed rank increases to match it faster and if youre not really that good you arent punished for it.

On the other hand if your MMR is lower than your displayed MMR youre expected to win. So if you do lose you lose a lot of points to lower your displayed rank faster, while if you win you only get a small reward for beating easy opponents.

The idea is that when you get to the rank your skill level is actually at you will win and lose roughly half the time, and your displayed rank will match your MMR, which will in turn make your LP gained and LP lost equal, and since youre winning and losing equally your rank will freeze until you get better.

Mostly you gain/lose LP based on your MMR compared to your rank/division and the enemy team's MMR (game tries to get as even a match as possible, but thats literally impossible so if youre predicted more likely to win you get less LP lose more and vice versa. Purple team loses slightly more often than blue so usually purple has higher MMR)

Probably a lot more complicated than that, but i dont think anyone outside of riot knows the exacts.
