Questions for mods.

  1. Who hire you? How does that process work?

  2. What is actually your job as mod? I can only notice your activity when you delete some comment which allegedly violate boards rules.

  3. People say that Rito ignore their feedbacks. So I would like to ask you if providing community feedback directly to Devs is part of your job?

Peace.

  1. We're not "hired" because we're volunteers. The Heralds typically work with our Riot contact to bring on new moderators when needed, with the rest of the team contributing their thoughts/opinions on the viability of new candidates.
  2. To moderate the boards. This comprises mostly of locking threads and deleting content that violates the rules, but can involve new rules or initiatives or board functionality where our capabilities are sufficient to cover them.
  3. We don't provide feedback to the Devs as part of our responsibilities, but we do occasionally forward especially interesting or insightful threads (or just fun ones) to our Riot contacts.
