Question Riots Censorship

When Riot moderators are in the wrong, they delete your posts and hide behind a veiled obsure rule.

"We've recently removed your post for violating the Boards Universal Rules, primarily pertaining the rule:

Facilitate Civil Discussion- When you choose to participate in a discussion with the rest of the playerbase, always try to be respectful and receptive to another player's point of view. Also, be mindful of how you present your point of view. If a player feels strongly on a subject, don't get caught up trying to have the last word.

Your removed content:

I know its hard to see that there is a question mark since all you white knights think they are mighter then thou and insta judge like "Punishment" bot. You only have 1 part of a 5 man team conversation, congrats you don't even know half the conversation that went on. Old tribunal system would let you judge better.

While we understand that you may be upset or frustrated, the Moderation Team does not accept this as a valid excuse to be uncivilized, and we ultimately require that all discussions on the Boards be civil.

While we aren't taking any actions against your account at this time, please keep in mind that continued violation of the Boards Universal Rules and sub-board guidelines may result in future punishments.

If you have any questions about this moderation action, don't hesitate to reach out to the Boards Moderation Team via:"

You insulted people directly (calling them "white knights", and you also indirectly insulted someone as unable to read. That's why it would have been deleted.

Nami Hi,

Your post was removed for the reason listed in the action that you quoted. Insulting others, being overly dismissive or using non-constructive forms of criticism, such as remarking on intelligence levels or being overly dismissive are not appropriate on Boards as per our Universal Rules.

If you have other questions please feel free to hit up a moderator on our Boards Moderation Discord.

You know what? I'll give you a fair doubt here. You're obviously upset that the people on PB are coming off as rather elitist, and admittedly, they can get that way in some cases.

In yours however, the majority of them had every comment supported by fact, and you simply didn't want to hear it, deciding instead to pop off and call everyone white knighting SJWs with no idea what they're talking about.

In that, you're wrong. And in that, you prove that not only was your conversation no longer going to remain civil, you also unflinchingly proved that you straight up don't give a shit. If someone has a difference of view, they must bend to yours...right?

That's how all this foolishness looks...so save yourself the trouble, and leave it alone.

Where exactly are the "Riot" moderators in the wrong here?

The only thing in this post that has some essence to it is that some rules have indeed more leeway for interpretation than others (veiled and obscure, lol). That is however a valid approach for a volunteer group of moderators so that they can intervene in sometimes subtle or new ways to exhibit unwanted behaviour without stumbling over complex explanations every time a new issues creeps up.

You nailed it. The mods here actually are not respecting the rules themselves and do whatever they want. Your comment can have 0 curse words, if they don't like it, they will delete it. Great example few threads above you. One guy said that PB is a terrible place to comment.... they deleted the post xD
