Matchmaking

So I'm a new league player y'know. Done nothing but play against bots on beginner for like two and a half weeks. Tried my best to learn shit n whatever. Hopped into like 2 normal matches, got put up against a level 200 something Ashe and some other guy. Just really unfair for my level of skill. Then there was a high level Rakan on my team. I couldn't help but feel bad for him cuz I'm really shit. At least he didn't verbally attack me like that one guy named Steven. Yeah I know this is normal and I played it off better than I expected myself to. He was like, "You're fucking trash" or something. I think Ashe said that idk I don't remember. All I did was say, "I know". I think that's all. Idk i can't remember shit when i try to. Oh and there was this Singed, bro I think he's mental. Typin, "Where are you?" I responded, "What?" then he responded back, "Where are you?" Idk if that's what he meant to make it sound like but idk he destroyed me lol. Not surprising since I suck n all but damn he was tanky af. Anyways, just saying how disrespectful people can be, especially if they're on a higher level than you and treat you like shit. Which well I understand why, they want to win and stuff but at least try to make me better. Not like I've played as long as you. Not like I know what the hell I'm doing. I don't call the shots, I just listen to my teammates and get murdered by the enemy team. I think that's all for today, not feeling the same passion I felt for league anymore. Just gonna listen to their music and mindlessly play against bots I guess. Peace out -IItzEnvy Talon Riven Nami

I actually agree, a lot. All the time I get placed against like level 12 players, and it isnt fair to me OR the enemy. Id rather get destroyed, but be playing with my skill level then get stuck vs a new player. I would recommend you play champions like garen and lux to start out, and also go into your settings and disable "enable /all chat" and "enable ally chat"

Sorry bout that. I've had a hard time when I was new in league too. People being extremely toxic and i always felt bad because i felt like i was holding my team back. I just do my best to mute and ignore anything my teammates say or do when they are toxic.

Easy way i became a lot better in league is 2 things. When I learned the concept that getting gold in game makes you have an advantage which can help lead to you winning the game, that was the starting point of how i became good. The next thing that got me to where I am at now is I started watching youtube videos learning as much as I could and watching other high level players play. Generally, they will have commentary to tell you what's going on in their mind when they play and what you should look for or think about when playing. All of this of course you don't need to do, but it did help me improve tremendously.

One little thing that I've done that has completely improved my mechanics significantly is I play league with quick cast almost all the time. It makes the game really feel more like a game. Being able to have your spell come out instantly could be the difference between dying or killing your opponent first. If you need time to practice this, yasuo by default has quick cast on his q so eventually when you get used to that, you can start working on quick casting for other champs and other spells. Of course, you don't have to quick cast everything, i just personally like to quick cast everything with a slight few exceptions like when using veigar's stun.

I do agree that the match making is a little odd but as for now, there's not much you can do about it. I would highly recommend playing bots until you've mastered beating intermediate bots for a while before transitioning to normals but all of this is just advice. Do what you find is fun.
