Quick and mini improvement

I was wondering about a quick improvement riot could make in a league of legends' client. The improvement I would like is that I would appreciate if we could see our ping/ms in the lobby (game's client) before joining or playing a game. This is because some people don't really check their internet speed and start with a very high ping which can cause players struggling to play, leading to afk in some cases. I would just like to have a mini box (similar to the in-game one, but in the lobby)in the corner or something which shows our ping before entering the game so that we are able to know if the speed is enough for us to play properly. This mini work could reduce afk as people will not have to restart computers just to have better internet. Although some may say use speed test online before joining a game, I'm sure most of the people don't check before playing and might be inaccurate.
