Any carry type champions that can work support well?

I am currently trying to get into PVP, my dad is joining me on this adventure. He likes to play ADC champs the most (In particular, Ashe MF or Twitch) and communication is important for bot lane so I have been queuing up as support, however I would like to have a champion(s) to be able to run games with him as well as in a solo lane, or even be able to hold my own in a 1v2 situation in case I end up botside with a carry who either doesnt communicate well or gets themself frequently killed.

Pyke is your best bet, not only is he a prime support but he's also an assassin.

I can give him a second shot, his kit felt a bit disjointed for me, but hey you can get good at anything if you work at it!

Vel koz, veigar are good picks for carry champs.

If you want something more supportive but can still make plays alistar, thresh, pyke and nautilus.

Vel'Koz, Brand, Zyra, Anivia, Veigar, MF, Jarvin, Lux, Malzahar, and Zilean all have the ability to adapt from supporting to carrying through the course of a game if needed, but being effective at both is very difficult to do properly.
