Chests and Champion Shards

I haven't been as active in this season as I have in previous seasons, however I do see some "problems" (more like frustrations) with crafting. I have just about every champion and I continue to receive champion shards. While I know that you can disenchant them for blue essence, it still stinks to keep getting champions from crates. Especially when you are less active in the game... It takes longer just to get keys and then I end up getting a champion that I already have. There should at least be more things to purchase with blue essence.. Like making it where you can purchase some chromas for BE? Or have the 3 - 10 win XP boosts be sold for BE and make it where you can only purchase a certain amount at a time? I'm not sure if someone has already brought this topic up, but I thought I'd share my frustration.
