Is Karthus a good champion?
Alright so I got over 7000 IP and I was thinking of getting Karthus (cause of his ult). Should I get him or not?

Really though, it depends if you'd like playing him. He is certainly very strong, though there does seem to be a tendency for mid laners to go with champions that would out range Karthus, so he may have trouble in the current meta. He does see some play in the top lane, also in the jungle, so there are still ways to play Karthus. He's a very strong champion, especially if you get good about managing your mana and landing your Qs, but he does seem like he would struggle in the current assassin/long range poke mage meta in the mid lane.

Sure. He's a late game hypercarry and if played right is one of the most scary late game champions out there. Just farm and take kills with R, that's all you can do early game.
