Let's Talk Shaco

I'm not a Plat 3 Shaco main who played him die hard through his nerf. Hell, I'm not even silver. I'm a Bronze 5 Shaco player/main. I started Mid- Season 2, but i got level 30 mid Season 3. So the suggestions I make might seem rash, just make your suggestions in the comments and ill edit this post as needed. These are just a few buffs that will make him a lot stronger.

Decieve: If the range was reverted to previous 500 range rather than 400 like flash, because this is what makes him unique.

Jack in the Box: Make the proc time a tad bit shorter like 1 or 1.5 because other than stacking them at 0:56 for insane clear times and counter jungling, they are worthless.(unless you wanna use them as trinkets). Also, this is just me, but i really don't like the fear changes made in 4.3 because you couldnt stack 2-3 boxes at the enemies red buff anymore because they'll walk out of half the damage from the boxes. If the 4.3 fear "buff" isn't reverted, have the boxes apply backstab.

Two-Shiv Poison: Make it a 100% AD ratio.

Hallucinate: There's a couple problems about this skill. A)Have it display equipped buffs and apply red buff B)It wouldn't hurt if it applied Sheen proc when real Shaco used a skill C)Remove the 75% debuff on the clone , because i could easily right click one of them and see which attack does more damage

This is just my 2 cents worth on how shaco should be buffed and made viable. =D

Great concerns, I hope they address them in Shaco's upcoming rework.

A few notes:

1: The decieve was nerfed because of it being better than flash. He would split push with almost no risk at all. If they go for him; decieve, and if not, push for days.

2: The boxes only do this if you max them FIRST. If you don't; 0.5 seconds isn't enough to force a buff out.

3: The shiv's ration is meeh; a buff is needed there.

4: The display buffs thing would remove one huge penalty for shaco grabbing buffs. If you're smart enough, you'll look for the blue buff or sheen proc on him. That was what you looked for the not decieve you.

Shaco's real problem is that he has no damage without items. He is extremely gold dependant, and cannot help out his team after laning phase. And if he can; he could be pushing them to death. Shaco needs some way to help out his team, even if it be picking off one target. And he needs some form of damage on his own in AD form. Think I'm kidding, here's a few examples:

Q: scales of your AD purely. Requires AD/items. Mana cost is rather extreme late levels if used too often. W: used for fear/vision in AD. E: has base damage and scaling, but just a tad too little on its' own. Requires items to make full use. R: clone scales off of your AD. No damage if you have none.

If you didn't see my point, If I was unclear: I like shaco. He's fun. But he lacks damage to fight anyone WITHOUT ITEMS. That's the problem they need to fix; not just minor ratios and such. They could remove the elements that are problematic, they said already, but it would remove what made shaco fun. What I'm hoping for is more damaging skills, or combos. I've given my 2 cents, I appologize if this just seems rude or not really thought out.

I also am a Shaco main (AD Jungle), and for me, the one thing that I would like to see changed is adding on-hit effects to his Two Shiv Poison active. In response, the AP ratio would probably need to be lowered (due to the AP Lich Bane players who would abuse this), but it would be more useful to AD Shaco because of the ability to proc Static Shiv/BotRK/Life Steal/whatever you happened to be building.

Also, if you try to take Shaco into a lane as AD (either top or mid), his mana costs are too high. He is too squishy to be able to control the lane with autoattacks, and he doesn't have enough damage to assassinate an enemy laner. So, lowered mana costs would be nice too. Although I'm not as worried about this; I'd only shy away from Urgot/Ryze if I needed someone with a good escape.
