First off, I know. I'm Bronze I. This is only one game. I didn't even do that well.

Anyways, let's start off with the pro's as ever.

Pros:

Stats:

Better base AD than other off (and on)-meta ADC's

Ahri: 50 Jinx: 50 Corki: 48.2 Quinn: 48 Urgot: 48 Ezreal: 47.2 Caitlyn: 47 Miss Fortune: 46.5 Draven: 46.5 Lucian: 46 Twitch: 46 Varus: 46

Competitive AD/level: 3.0 (Same as most ADC's) Competitive Range (550, same as most ADC's) Competitive Base Attack Speed: 0.668 (Higher than all meta ADC's besides Draven and Twitch (0.679))

Abilities:

Q: Early-game assist with wave clear and slight harass potential; Combos with E; Part of full combo

W: Use to proc Ahri's passive or for harass while chasing/being chased; Combos with E; Part of full combo

E: Used to initiate full combo, to catch out enemy ADC's, to harass; Used to disengage and escape from ganks; Initiation of full combo

R: Used to engage/dis-engage; Combo's with E; Part of full combo

Early Game

Ahri is squishy, having a low base HP (380). She needs to stay back at level 1 and farm with Q or go for full harass by strategically placing her E to catch out supports or enemy ADC's.

Mid Game (Post level 6-8)

Assuming you've survived Early Game without feeding or getting behind too far, Ahri can become a pick machine. Using her ult to initiate ganks/engages, placing an E (Max first) correctly can lead to 2 seconds of free AA's, or 2-4 AA's. That's invaluable to initiating, and Ahri can use her R three times to dodge abilities/chase/disengage.

Late Game

Ahri, depending on your build, can become an initiator or an assassin, with her 2 second E charm, and make OR break teamfights. Her R is her mobility and her Q and W account for either healing or harassment, depending on her your build of Ahri.

Cons:

Stats:

Less base HP than most ADC's (380) Less Attack Speed/level (2% compared to 4% of other ADC's) Others :P

Abilities:

None of them scale off of AD, meaning her ability harass is weak early and mid game. Ahri relies on her E to initiate good combos and the high mana cost means that she cannot waste her abilities early or she'll be left with no escape or initiation. Consider buying mana items or a Manamune.

Early Game:

Oh man. Ahri is weak early. She needs to be safe and farm, leaving the crazy plays for her support.

Mid Game:

Still not the strongest because she relies on E and R. Her Q and W still don't do much damage and don't provide CC, unless AP is bought.

Late Game:

Ahri at this point is not very weak unless caught out, like other ADC's. Again, only two useful abilities for duels and teamfights.

Overall, I think that she has potential to be a devastating ADC and she is one of the top contenders for anyone who wants to break the meta in the botlane, or just want a new challenge. Please give me your thoughts ^~^.

Interesting, I doubt it would work particularly well at higher levels of play. But props for something I've never seen before =D

I myself have done adc ahri before if you do you have to build hybrid and be heavily rely reliant on your E and you need to know your support and you can set up a lot plays with someone like Blitzcrank orThresh

I've tried ADC ahri and had success. Your spells aside from e are useless, unless you go a hybrid build (both times I think I went standard adc). It works decently but it's awkward because your one viable spell pre 6 (and main spell after 6) is a skillshot. Still is fun though.

Oh and another plus to adc ahri is the regen form her passive (which is admittedly not a ton cuz of ap scaling)

IMO the biggest problem with ADC ahri is her lack of AD scalings on her skills. If you just want her to take out a tower, it could work but she wouldn't be good as an ADC in a teamfight nor would she be able to do her normal stuff as well. Plus she'd have no CDR for her skills.

The only advantage I'd see is the charm, and that's not huge because it only multiplies magic damage... which she wouldn't have. I'd be cool if riot gave her AD scalings on all her skills, but I don't see it happen so she's never going to be a serious ADC.

Also, don't go hybrid. Going hybrid doesn't work out very well in general. Even champs with dual scaling rarely go hybrid.

Interesting. I've seen it done before, but not with much success. Unless you snowball wouldn't other adc's always beat ahri due to their advantage of having scaling attack damage abilities?

What did you build? I'm a bit curious to try it out.

Ahri may have decent bases but she has no steroids. No AD steroid, no AS steroid, no nothing. Her Charm's % damage buff only benefits her magic damage and the true damage from her Q, which means her damage is, inevitably, going to scale better with AP and CDR than it will with any amount of AD.

Okay, I've played around with ADC Ahri when I'm feeling just to have fun, and laugh, but really when you are duo'd with a hook champ. You can do mass amount of damage. Because even though you are all AD with no AP scaling abilities, you still do the true damage with your Q, and with W, it's amplified to nuke your target. If you play safe till 6 you IMO have the best initiate as the ADC where you can get up close to the enemy, and lock them down for your support to help out.

If anyone wants to try this out I'll give you an ideal item build I've used in many games.

  1. Run your basic item 1055 item 2003 item 3006
  2. Then rush BORKitem 3153 With BORK it's does more damage when used with W.
  3. Either item 3031 or item 3072 it's really up to you. I go item 3072 for the shield because you get up and close.
  4. Then get your item 3046 NEVER go Shiv, it's useless on Ahri since you really depend of teamfighting, and picking people off.
  5. Then for your last item it'd probably get item 3026 Just because.

I believe Ahri could do wonders in Bottom lane, she still does amazing burst with the true damage she can do with W,Q combo without AP.

Obviously it's just my opinion so don't bash me for what I think. Give it a try it's fun to play around with!
