yi ignoring roots and stuns/getting out of them early

so anyone else experiencing this? a stun on yi is supposed to last at least 1 second yet as soon as he is stunned he manages to q me. same for when i root him and its supposed to last about .6 seconds.. he gets out of it the instant he is rooted.

on the other end if you claim it was due to him using his q before i stun/root him then its supposed to stun/root him after the fact for the same duration it would have been if i hit him after he came out of it.. that doesnt happen either.
