Malzahar having his suppression ult interupted by the champion he is suppressing.

On several occasions now while playing malzahar in a 1v1 situation during ranked games I have had his suppression interrupted by a skill used by the person who is suppressed, If I read suppression correctly as a skill. As soon as a champion is suppressed it should stop all of their abilities whether they were triggered before the suppress or not. In this last instance that pissed me off enough to post here I suppressed vi who then interrupted my suppress with her dash ability (not her ult) which should not be possible because as soon as she was suppressed she should have stopped all action.

No - being CC'd means you cannot cast abilities, i.e. you cannot activate new abilities or activated items. Once an ability's button is pressed, its cast time starts. This cast time is often incredibly short, but it does exist. Once an ability has started to be cast - the cast time is ticking - nothing will stop it from going off but that champion's death.

Ezreal's ultimate is the primary example here - the delay in firing it is not a channel but a cast time, and any CC will not interrupt his ult firing.

TL;DR: Not a bug, intended behaviour. Why it's intended I've no idea.
