Everytime I open the league client it will ask my permission to update the league of legends icon on my client, and I agree to it every single time but it seems to pop up every time I re-open my game. It happens right before I enter my username and password.

Yeah, I've been having the same issue. Like it had the Evelynn background after it originally updated then the next time I wanted to play it had the old one and its been asking

I'm pretty sure I figured the problem out, if you have the old icon pinned to your taskbar it won't update it so unpin it from the taskbar and it will fix
