League Client stops working during champion select

It just happened to me during my ranked champ select that when the countdown hits 0 the client automaticlly stops working and i can't pick or ban. It is not the first time though but at first i thought it was my connection so i didn't report it, but today when it happened i looked at the pings and they were fine. The fact is that you lose time and LPs for free and you can't do anything about it. Please Riot fix this, fix the Client it is just awful to play with that.
