League client bug / Re-update

For the past few days I have been having an issue where in champ select / after game screen / or just wherever it does not respond so I reset my client and it says there is an update and I have to reinstall the latest patch that I already installed also in the background it shows the pulsefire login screen instead of the VS. login screen. When the update starts it goes on and gets stuck near completion so I reset the client again, it then does the update again but it has a lower completion percentage and it will keep going non stop for a while updating past the required update percentage, I let it go for 5 minutes and the estimated time said "-5 minutes est" and after a while it finally finishes at a point I don't know. I have been having this issue for a few days now at least once a day but most of the time it is twice a day. It is a very annoying bug because I get it in champ select making me dodge or afk causing a penalty. I don't know how to fix this bug, do you? Help me please :(
