Hotkeys not working(recurring)

Hi, I need help for a RECURRING bug I've kept getting repeatedly for months. Most of the time, I can simply leave the game and re-enter it, but this does not always work, and it sacrifices an important part of the game where invades can occur.

Basically, when I load into a game, sometimes none of my hotkeys on my keyboard work whatsoever. I can still do everything with the mouse from scrolling, to movement and auto attacks, I can EVEN type and communicate in chat using my keyboard. But when it comes to using champion abilities, items, commands, camera control with keys, or even leveling skills with ctrl, none of that stuff works.

Is this a problem on my end somehow linked with my keyboard? Could it have anything to do with programs I might have running in the background? Or is it just one of numerous problems with the client?

Whatever it is, I'm looking for a PERMANENT solution, as I'm just not going to keep deleting my settings and changing everything back to how I had it, only to run into the same bug again later and have to repeat the whole process. I can't keep doing that, and I would honestly rather just drop the game altogether.
