Xerath q bug?

Playing ARAM as Xerath and then somehow my q ability bugs and cant be clicked at all? I tried dying to see if that would fix it but it didn't, and couldnt reconnect since there was no time to do so as it was at a very crucial point in the game. Anyone know why o.o?

Charge up abilities (such as this and Vi Q) have been bugged for weeks in ARAM. Can't tell you why a game breaking bug hasn't been addressed yet, but I don't play ARAM either.
