(GAMEPLAY) Blitz vs Zyra issue(blitz's pull prevents rooting on zyra's part)

i just finished my first game since the new update(5.15) and found that when using Zyra's e to root champs, if blitz threw his arm out to grapple and pull me just after i released my e he could pull me through the root without getting rooted and thusly destroy me. i have never experienced that before and think it may be a broken bit of game play with this update cuz my root has always rooted UNLESS someone had done a move BEFORE i toss out my roots n thorns.... totally gutted my game play and destroyed our teams chance in that aram.(mind u the lack of tank on our team did give them a good chance as well, we did have them from the get go in what looked like an unfair battle for us, only to be a totally no chance in hell snowballs ran over us kind of match up)
