Just wanted to quickly inform the community that as of the 27 of September 2017, Champion select is currently bugged. To put it simply, people have been reporting issues when trying to Confirm and decline things in Lobbies and champion select. If you queue up now, you will notice that a lot of people will not accept matches, will miss bans, and leave queue by failing to select a champion. Basically, I would advise waiting for this issue to be fixed as to avoid getting penalties for dodging. [zombie-brand-clap] Keep calm and cry RITO PLZ

It sucks that they wrote about replays issues but they haven't informed about champ select bug. Many, many, maaaanyyy players are losing their LP right now.

It finally worked for me after a few minutes, i found a match, joined but I couldn't ban the champ - for the second time, so I can't play now for 30 minutes + I lost 13lp.

i think riot should shut down their servers in special region to protect the profiles of players... losing LP is not fair for the manufacturer's bugs... but i guess is open so you can buy skins and shit...while having a messed up client..

I can confirm, just joined a ranked match, picked morgana supp, and couldnt Lock in. No matter what I did, I switched champions, tried to change skins, do everything possible, but the Lock In button was grey. Didnt allow me, so I got kicked out for "leaving" and lost LP, also 5min penalty. But for ban, it worked normally.

Bot games work just fine tho... 28/9 still isn't fixed. When I go in PVP -> Summoner's Rift -> blind pick, it keeps telling me a player declined ready check. If we get to Champ Select, it just kicks you out of Champ Select after a while as if a player dodged. And then after about 3 mins in the queue, it just won't let me leave without closing the game, and it won't even offer me to accept games. Hope Riot will fix this soon, I need my dose of Alistar

EDIT : all is well as of 29/9/17, this phenomenon apparently stopped.

hah i just miss the old client not this laggy piece of crap . i'm not talking about this bug , but the client in general , it is way slower than the old one and doesn't bring anything new but a new interface and practice tool which i'm sure could be added in the old one

Riot is an amateur business: Every single patch there's a new bug. Nvm the fact that the new client is a giant shitfest full of bugs, let's not forget how shitty champ select has always been with its bugs. Several years after they still can't get it right.

I started fussing with their new favoriting and I got locked out of being able to lock in a champion during champion selection. Which was bullshit according to me. It even happened when I was livestreaming which means after stream I am highlighting this stream and making them totally aware of their shitty problem.

Yeah, Lobbies bug sometimes too. I got into a lobby fine, but couldn't click the button to start the queue. It was grayed out. So was the button to cancel the game and exit the lobby. I could go to home page, and reenter the lobby, but couldn't start the game. Had to close the client to get out.
