Attacking through stuns

Played Annie on ARURF, 4 instances where the enemy J4 could throw out either an auto, Q, or both even though I stunned him. The stun landed on him, he stood still, and he threw out a Q, auto, or both in all 4 cases. Status bar still had him as "STUNNED".

I did the same yday with my Lee Sin against Twisted Fate, was surprised. It happens not only with stuns for example I died from extremely huge range when jax used W before his W I popped flash, basically he gained invisible range and killed me from far away.
