"Retrieving data from server"

I keep getting this message every time I try to join a queue or even check stats then it displays an unknown error that will not go away. It takes forever to log on, when I manage to join a game, it kicks me out for not picking a champ and it is not my turn. Please fix this, there is no problems on my end Riot. I even redownloaded the damn game and that did not help a bit.
