For everyone complaining about the Xerath bug:

There is no Xerath bug. There is no combination of keys which can be hit to make his Q global. The problem with Xerath is that someone made a script which allows his Q to be glo0bal, as shown by the video below. https://youtu.be/bMLR7IQCA3w There are several reasons why you need to know this distinction.

  1. RIOT WILL NOT DISABLE SOMEONE FOR A SCRIPT: A script is not a glitch. A script is something which has to be purchased or written by yourself to hack the game. It is not available to everyone, and therefore will not get the character disabled, since only a select few people can access.
  2. A SCRIPT TAKES A WHILE TO GET PATCHED:
A script is not a glitch. A glitch is something which is caused by something in Riot's (Spaghetti) code, and therefore is much easier fixed. A script is a 3rd party software which riot has to figure out how it works, how it got past their firewalls, and how to fix it. It will take a little bit before they have a fix to the script.
  3. A SCRIPT CAN GET YOU BANNED: This is also the main reason for #1. A script is something which once riot detects you are using it, you get banned. It's in the code of conduct which you have to accept every time the game patches. Do you know what isn't mentioned in there? Glitches. Exploiting a glitch isn't inherently against the code of conduct, which is why champions get disabled. Since exploiting the glitch isn't a bannable offence, the character gets disabled until it gets patched.

Can't agree with this part.

Most scripts doesnt exploit any flaws in code, they are just playing based on what is displayed on the screen (or in the client's memory) and perform actions really fast, but nothing that "breaks" the games logic.

Xerath Q becoming global breaks the games logic. In order to exploit this there HAS to be a bug somewhere in riot's code allowing this. Thus it makes xerath's Q BUGGED and also gamebreaking, it's a good reason to disable him.

Riot doesnt care. The Gagong guy is the nephew of one of the tencent executives (majority chinese owners of riot) and this is why riots hands are tied. They have been told to allow this continue until the VP's nephew makes some cash off this.

In the meantime people like me are losing LP in ranked from this BS. Is that acceptable? Better to just disable him.

Its not just a select few that have access, random people are picking it up and using it in ranked.

Yeah I definitely cannot agree with not benching a champ. I mean a vayne or cait script is one thing and it sucks but I've seen people beat it and just overwhelm it. But this script allows xerath to SIT IN BASE and hit multiple targets.

You can't beat that. And when Riot has no way to backup information. Like Redmercy stated; if you're in your promos and you lose to this script. You're going to sit there and punish the player for not beating a script? Scripting is becoming easier and easier for players to do and figure out and imo the scripts are beginning to be able to do more and more making them high game breaking. We've gone from champs auto dodging skill shots and predicting scripts .. now we have scripts that let a player sit in base and not just potentially kill players but also get farm?.

You need to sit back and assess the level of the script at hand. But the biggest thing is that if there is a script at all you need to protect the image of your game. Just ban xerath... I mean there's 134 champions. I'm pretty sure people will find another champ to play until this whole thing is fixed. Until you take him out, you're just leaving the rest of your community to suffer and giving other players the opportunity to use the script.

Weird... almost sounds like. You're punishing fair players in ladder.. and allowing others to abuse a script until you fix it. It's almost like you want people to cheat
