Phantom Dancer Bug

Was using a phantom dancer and it was fully built, but when i went to walk from standing still next to minionsI hit a collision with minions and died to a skill shot i should have been able to side step through the minions. Since a passive of phantom dancers is walking through minions. However if you standing still next to them, then move there is a problem. The passive doesnt work before movement. Through you can walk through them you cant seem to start out walking through them from being still
