Lucian applying DoT

was vsing and enemy lucian when after being hit by his ultimate, i kept getting about 27-30 damage pinging off me, i didn't mention it but upon dying the enemy lucian said "no idea about that one" too which i asked about lucian having a DoT, he replied no, lucian doesn't, he had no red on. i'm not really sure what or how it happened but all i know is i was blasted to near death by his ult, fully got away, died about 3 seconds later
