Riot still hasn't fixed the border issue from patch 9.1, nor do they plan to.

All division 5 players in solo queue (s5 to d5) lost their soloq border in 9.1 and instead it's been showing their flex 5s border in all SR games, or no border if they had no flex rank. Some of the players had this issue fixed with the rollout of 9.2, but many of us are still without our borders.

Riot said they were aware of the issue on their service status for a few days after 9.1 then removed it. For 3 weeks, many of us players who ended soloq in a division 5 have basically had nothing but a profile banner (and icon which no one uses) to reflect our work. This especially sucks because on patch 9.3 they're completely redoing the loading screen to show this season's rank instead, so those of us affected only had our border for preseason.

I didn't grind my soloqueue rank to Diamond 5 to have my post-provisional Gold 5 flex border in every game. Can anyone from Riot shed some light on this issue? Obviously the removal of division 5s caused this bug, but to strip us of the rewards we spent hard work and time to earn?
