Dark Harvest ranged nerf?

I ran a game as Caitlyn to test out Dark Harvest. Lots of fun, by the way. But I noticed the souls were only giving me 5 damage each rather than 8. Attached you can see the tooltip still says 8, but I figured maybe ranged was nerfed to 5. But nowhere in the tooltip for Dark Harvest on the rune page does it mention a ranged nerf. Did I miss something? Is this working as intended or is there an issue? I feel like there's an issue...

The rune received a hot fix two days ago

Dark Harvest was hotfixed, and the tooltip will reflect the changes in the next patch. As this is not a bug, I'll be closing out this topic. Thanks!
