[Gameplay] Master Yi smiting monster during Q forces "impatience retreat heal"
On Master Yi, if you engage a jungle monster (both big and small) with Alpha Strike (Q) and cast smite on the big monster during the untargetable phase of Q, the monster will instantly "retreat" and heal itself until it reaches 90% health (patch 5.19 leash changes).
- Engage monster with Alpha Strike (Q)
- Cast smite during untargetable phase of Alpha strike (Q)
- Monster starts regenerating health
Ive tried this without Hunter's Machete, with Hunter's Machete and all 4 jungle item upgrades (Stalker's blade, Poacher's Knife, Skirmisher's Sabre and Ranger's Trailblazer. Same output.
It only works if you engage with Alpha Strike (Q). Doing the said procedure after monster has been pulled, it will keep attacking you after you leave Alpha Strike (Q) and keep hitting you normally.
