Delayed reposition calculation on Arcane Shift

Hey guys.

After all these years, I still am an Ezreal main. Probably not gonna change anytime soon either. There is just one thing that has been bugging me for years now.

The time it takes for the game to calculate my new position after I use my E (Arcane Shift) is way too long. It doesnt matter if it is an Ahri Charm, a Thresh hook, an Yasuo Storm flying at me or whatever... I use my E and I get caught by the skill on my new position because apparently the game did not 'know' yet, that I am not there anymore. In the past years I always blamed it on either my old and a bit slow pc or on my ping... but now I got a new one and approximately 45ms all the time so I can't blame it on that anymore.

Its basically Ez' only escape ability and it already has a casttime of about... 0.3-0.5 sec? not quite sure. Now if there is a Charm flying at you that takes about the same time to travel it is kinda frustrating to dodge it in time and still walk towards Ahri like a lamb to the slaughter.

The cast time itself already makes the skill inferior to many other dodge abilities (Lucian E for example) the reposition delay however is a real problem in my opinion.

Could you please have someone look into this?

Best Wishes Thornleif

{quoted} Now if there is a Charm flying at you that takes about the same time to travel it is kinda frustrating to dodge it in time and still walk towards Ahri like a lamb to the slaughter.

You didn't dodge it. Ahri cast charm. You cast arcane shift. Wait for cast time to resolve... Charm hits you. Cast time resolves and you Arcane shift. You are still under effects of charm and walk towards Ahri.

The End.
