Game does not enter loading screen

My League randomly and inexplicably stopped working last night in between games. I got into queue and champ select just fine, I made no changes to runes or masteries. I just locked my champ. When the client closed the logo appeared and the screen went to black and stayed that way. It has happened before, but nothing relogging didn't fix, but now it will not work at all, even though I can enter queue just fine. Have tried repairing, reinstalling, checking virus chest, and switching to a wired connection.

This is a known issue. Google it and 100+ pages of arcane solutions come up.

The one that worked for me is to run

lol.launcher.admin

instead of

lol.launcher

download WTFast and use it as an observer between league and your router

I had this problem too and the only thing that actually helped was WTFast. Be sure to check the functionality of the program in custom games to prevent being punished by the LeaverBuster©.
