Lagg Going In To Champ Select

Most times when I enter a lobby my screen freezes for a good 5 - 10 seconds and can even freeze until it is my turn to select a champion. I then get kicked out of the lobby for "leaving" and have to wait additional minutes until I am able to play again. This is ridiculous and very frustrating. I was wondering whether this happens to anybody else or if I am the only one experiencing this problem. My ping is absolutely fine and my computer is more than capable to run league of legends. If I am not the only person experiencing this then please fix this problem as it is putting me off this game considerably.
