[GAMEPLAY] Sion E bug, minion not traveling before dying, video included

I noticed while watching the TIP vs DIG game the other day, that at the 18:20 mark of the video posted (7:25 in-game timer), Gamsu used his Sion E to clear a minion wave under his turret. However, instead of traveling intended distance (through entire wave), the first minion died when it hit the second minion (who also died). I have tried recreating the issue, but have been unsuccessful. I did notice it happened to me in a game last night as well, however in my case only the minion I used E on died, and did not travel at all.

I took a quick peek through the other Gameplay boards, but did not see a prior post about this, so I wanted to make you aware of it. I will continue trying to recreate the bug in a couple custom matches. Thanks!

Earlier in the game, Jatt and Phreak were discussing Sion's ability to farm under turret very effectively, and in this video Jatt is just about to say "Annnd, Sion doesn't miss a single CS again," but as soon as the E bugs, he stops himself because he was confused as to why the whole wave didn't die, as expected.
