Saved Debit Card

I was going to buy some sweet sweet Rito Points. When I clicked the amount, it asked me for my 3 digit card code. I happily type it in with such gusto that I miskeyed it, resulting in a decline. I revisit the store, intent on being much more careful with my fingers, and it doesn't ask me for the code the second time around due to having validated my email. If I mis-enter my information resulting in a decline, I feel like it shouldn't immediately let me make the purchase without asking for any information the second time around.
