Stuns don't cancel nasus Q?

I was a bit surprised when I tried stopping a nasus farming and found that i couldn't so I tested this in bots. Turns out that his normal attack can be cancelled but his Q continues through the stun. Is the cancel frame just really short? This seems to apply to all other aa steroids like trundle's bite thing

I believe that AA modifiers are designed to be more forgiving than a standard auto (helps make them feel better to use). They generally have a slightly increased range, and apparently are not interrupted by stuns.

It's not a bug; you are not understanding how crowd-control works. Stuns, or any CC, do not cancel abilities. Likewise, stuns or other circumstances do not cancel auto-attacks either. You see this all the time with ranged AAs, where the projectile continues to fly and hits the target regardless of stuns, flashes, knockups, whatever. CC prevents them from being used. "Prevent" specifically means beforehand, it prevents the inputs which causes abilities, attacks, and movement to occur.
