Maokia Bug: Sapling Toss cancelled by Passive

Recently I played Maokia and noticed a bug where my E can fail to throw a sapling if my passive is coming off cooldown and I am also trying to auto something, so while clearing camps. I was able to recreate the bug in practice tool several times, but I had no way to record these.

so you are wanting to cast an ability and auto attack and proc passive all at the same time?

and cuz you cant its a bug?

No. By starting to cast E, the passive CD lowers by 4 secs, as normal. But the bug cancels the sapling toss and passive autos instead. So, I cast E but never get the sapling, yet it costs mana and goes on CD. I hope that clears things up.
