Can't change ward skin in champion selection sometimes

The box is grayed out and won't let me select it, and on the beta client there is no more changing option in the store anymore :(

This isn't a new bug either, this has been going on ever since that visual update for the beta client, it is just more noticeable and annoying to not be allowed to change my ward skin.
