sweeping lens attack???

this may not be a bug and if not please tell me. When I was in a bush going base a member of the enemy team used sweeping lens on the bush, they did not see me or attack me, but when the lens hit the bush in the area I was standing while going base it stopped my base. I know some abilities that don't do damage can stop you from basing such as anything that forces your player to move but this was a new one for me
