im not sure if im reading jhins q wrong or if its buged. even if other targets are right next to the previous it sometimes only bounces 2-3 times when it says it can bounce a max of 4, is it supposed to do this sorta rng or is this a bug?

Thanks for the report! We're aware of issues where Bouncing Grenade (Q) can fizzle out if Jhin launches an auto while it's bouncing. We're working to get a fix in ASAP.
If Jhin's Q cannot find another target to jump to after one or two bounces, it will just stop. It has a range on it for each bounce, you can't expect it to ALWAYS bounce 4 times :D
