Soraka Silence vs Malzahar Ult Bug

Pre patch, when soraka silenced Malz when he ulted it immediately canceled ult, not the ult lingers a bit before it actually gets canceled? I'm not sure if its a bug or possibly just a change, but it made alot more sense for it to be canceled immediately like how it was before patch. For example MF ult still gets immediately canceled if Soraka silences it, same for other ults. But with malz it lingers a bit.

Maybe its a change and not a bug, just thought I should report, thanks!

They changed malz ult, so when you QSS it, you need to get out of its range to make it stop dealing damage.

I dont know if it is just for QSS, or in general. But if a stun stops it completely, then I dont see why a silence shouldn't. That would be something to look at.
