Yas ult not holding multiple enemies airborne

Played last match, multiple times my ultimate was not procing off of multiple targets when it should have been In one example I hit swain and teemo with my wirlwind, swain was right infront of me, and teemo was about 600 units out, and when I ulted I held up swain and did damage, but teemo was unaffected. Then later in the game Malphite ulted 4, and I followed up only to suspend and hit one of the 4. Frusterating, why is this broken champions kit actually "broken" haha
