League logging me in automatically? Stored my password without my permission?

I explicitly refused to set the client to log in to my account automatically, having my username and password stored is NOT ok. Now it has changed to that format without my permission, and I no longer get a login screen, it just throws me straight into the client with me already logged in. I have not found a way to undo this as of yet. I did NOT agree to have my password logged automatically and I didn't receive notification regarding changes to this or the ToS either in-game or in an email. I now have to consider the client a risk to my personal information and delete League from my computer, run virus and malware scans, and keep my fingers crossed.

I could put up with the game going downhill since 2015 as long as I could play Bard now and then, hop into ARAM once in a while, but this latest risk to me is a hard no. There have been an increase in security risks reported on the boards and more posts about people being hacked than usual, and I won't take that risk Riot. This wasn't what I thought would chase me away from the game, but here we are.

I don't understand why this is getting downvoted

First you told the game to keep you logged in which is why it automatically logs you in and all you have to do is click x and log out without losing it. Also the new design might not have your password and username stored so just calm down and look it to it a little more before making big accusations.

Ok karen quit overreacting and look. Clicking X and Sign Out will log you out. Im fairly sure you somehow accidently logged in and clicked the checkbox, otherwise the option would not be there. If you have a long and complicated enough password and dont click random links in your email you wont have your acc hacked or a random keylogger in your pc.
