Load screen not appearing, reconnect button missing

At least the critical errors stopped, but now the load screen isn't starting at all and the reconnect button is missing. I tried to restart the client, but it would not open because it thought it was already running. There was a background process that I had to force close. I was then able to restart the client, game was still going but I still had no reconnect button. I will probably get leaver status because of this combined with the critical error crashes from yesterday. Small indie company btw...

I had the same issue. When i tried to stop league process and restart it kept making a new league launcher client that would be stuck at the same screen. I had to restart my computer and it worked. But as I logged in the game was already in a remake vote and I lost my promos.

as i said in a different thread "not sure if this is a legit fix, but when this happened to me i opened task manager & closed all league tasks, opened the client again, and was in game. hasn't happened to me since. not sure if it will work for you! but its worth a shot"
