Game Crashes When There's A Cho'Gath On Either Team

I've been having a couple of problems with the game so far, one of which is if there is that the game crashes whenever someone is playing a Cho'gath. Another thing is, is that when the game is fixing itself, I get the afk penalty thing that reduces the amount of exp you earn. Why is it that you should be punished when it's the games fault that you're afk?
